The one-month-long PSO refresher course organised by Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur concluded here on Friday.<\/p>\n
As per a statement, the objective of the course participated by 19 police personnel of various units was to enhance the capabilities and tactics of police officials to protect VIP\/protected persons.<\/p>\n
During the valedictory function of the programme, Shiv Kumar, SSP, Principal PTTI Vijaypur emphasised the importance of PSO course keeping in view the present security scenario.<\/p>\n
The course, he said, will help the police personnel in performing their field duties with VIPs\/Protected persons \u201cas these trainees have been taught crisis management, reaction drill, evacuation, anti-ambush techniques, tactical position taking and medical contingency besides all required Dos and Don\u2019ts including precautionary measures to be adopted while performing PSO duties\u201d.<\/p>\n
