{"id":16969,"date":"2024-01-22T10:16:16","date_gmt":"2024-01-22T10:16:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jammukashmirlinks.com\/?p=16969"},"modified":"2024-01-22T10:16:16","modified_gmt":"2024-01-22T10:16:16","slug":"new-ram-lalla-idol-consecrated-at-ayodhya-temple","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jammukashmirhighlights.com\/?p=16969","title":{"rendered":"New Ram Lalla idol consecrated at Ayodhya temple"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ayodhya :<\/strong> The new Ram Lalla idol was consecrated at the newly constructed temple here on Monday amid grand celebrations in the town, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi participating in the rituals.<\/p>\n<p>The prime minister walked inside the temple premises with a silver \u2018chattar\u2019 (umbrella) placed on a red folded dupatta.<\/p>\n<p>Dressed in a golden kurta teamed up with a cream dhoti and patka, he took \u2018sankalp\u2019 for the \u201cpran pratishtha ceremony\u201d and later moved to the sanctum sanctorum for the rituals.<\/p>\n<p>RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath were also present inside the sanctorum during the rituals.<\/p>\n<p>Army helicopters showered flower petals on the temple premises when the consecration took place.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe extraordinary moment of the consecration of Shri Ram Lala\u2019s life in Ayodhya Dham is going to leave everyone emotional. It is my great pleasure to be a part of this divine program. Hail Siya Ram!,\u201d Modi said on X.<\/p>\n<p>Modi will later address the gathering after the ceremony.
