The J&K Motorsports Federation (JKMSF) is all set to make its debut with the first-ever Autocross Event in J&K.<\/p>\n
In a press conference here JKMSF members said that the event, labeled as \u2018JK AUTOX 2023\u2019 will be held in the twin cities of Jammu and Srinagar this month.<\/p>\n
\u201cJKMSF has partnered with big brands like Redbull, Iffco Tokio, Roop Automotives, Godrej, Radio Mirchi, Backyard Customs and others to make the event a grand success,\u201d they maintained adding: \u201cThe first event is scheduled for June 3 and 4 at Aureum Grand Jammu followed by the second event on June 17 and 18 in Srinagar.\u201d<\/p>\n
They further said that the event will see drivers from eight States participating in JK AUTOX 2023 which will give a major push to motorsports and tourism in J&K.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Federation aims to generate avenues for motorsports enthusiasts from the UT and also plans to introduce Go Karting, Safe Biking Competitions, Expeditions and Outlanding OTR camps in the future,\u201d said the Media Secretary for Jammu Division, Arslan Khan Afridi.
\nHe also said that the JK AUTOX 2023 will be a significant boost to the unexplored motorsport scenes in J&K.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe event will generate avenues for motorsports enthusiasts, promote tourism in the State and most importantly will be a significant initiative to stop the misuse of the sports and rash driving in the name of motorsports,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe event will witness participation from female motorsports enthusiasts from J&K,\u201d said Dhemant Vir Singh adding: \u201cJK AUTOX 2023 is expected to attract a large number of motorsports enthusiasts and spectators from across the country. The Federation has made arrangements to ensure safety of all participants and spectators and will follow all necessary COVID-19 protocols.\u201d<\/p>\n
He said that the Federation is calling all motorsports enthusiasts to register for the event and secure their spot at J&K\u2019s first Autocross Event.
