From May 7-8, he said, rain was likely at \u201cmany places\u201d.<\/p>\n
Regarding temperature, he said, Srinagar recorded a low of 10.6\u00b0C against 11.3\u00b0C on the previous night and it was 0.9\u00b0C below normal for the summer capital.<\/p>\n
Qazigund, he said, recorded a low of 9.0\u00b0C against 7.8\u00b0C on the previous night and it was above normal by 1.3\u00b0C for the gateway town of Kashmir.<\/p>\n
Pahalgam, he said, recorded a low of 6.5\u00b0C against 4.7\u00b0C on previous night and it was 1.6\u00b0C above normal for the famous tourist resort in south Kashmir\u2019s Anantnag district.<\/p>\n
Kokernag recorded a low of 8.3\u00b0C against 7.7\u00b0C on the previous night and it was 0.1\u00b0C below normal for the place, the officials said.<\/p>\n
Gulmarg recorded a low of 3.9\u00b0C against 4.0\u00b0C on previous night and it was 0.4\u00b0C below normal for the world famous skiing resort in north Kashmir\u2019s Baramulla district, he said.<\/p>\n
In Kupwara town, he said, the mercury settled at 8.1\u00b0C against 8.7\u00b0C on the previous night and it was 0.3\u00b0C below normal for the north Kashmir area.<\/p>\n
