JAMMU : District Magistrate Sachin Kumar Vaishya has ordered a preliminary enquiry into the alleged role of a senior Revenue Department official in allowing cultivation on State Land. A Committee has been constituted for a thorough probe.
The committee, chaired by Additional District Magistrate Jammu, Shishir Gupta, would submit its report within 15 days. The State Land in question was retrieved after the High Court declared the Roshni Act null and void.
