Samba : Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh chaired a meeting at District Police Headquarters Samba to give final shape to the programmes to be organized by Samba Police as part of Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign and decided to organize mega patriotic cultural programmes in border areas of Ramgarh & Samba sectors.
Meeting was attended by Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary, SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar, DySP DAR Ajay Anand, all SHOs/Incharges PPs and all Incharges BPPs of the District, besides hundreds of prominent social activists hailing from all areas of District Samba.
Detailed discussion were held on the programmes to be conducted by samba police as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav commencing from 9th of August to 30th of August 2023 and a systematic plan was chalked out.
On the occasion, SSP Samba Benam Tosh said that Samba Police would organized mega patriotic cultural programmes in border areas of Ramgarh & Samba and would present handsome cash rewards to the best performers in cultural programmes. Moreover, police would organize mega rallies in collaboration with public, students & officers/officials of other departments, retired Army, BSF, CRPF, CISF,SSB, JKP personnel, besides organizing plantation drives, felicitation ceremonies etc. as part of Meri Maati Mera Desh campaign. SSP Samba further said that all police officers/officials of the district would exhibit innovations to make Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav a historic success in District Samba.
